Adult party added to Spooktacular event

Special To The Weekly Vista

It's a new season, so people are looking for new events, the POA's Sylvia Camacho-Green said. After years of helping to sponsor the Spooktacular, a children's event at the Bella Vista Library, adults now have their own Halloween celebration. It's the Boo Bash at Riordan Hall on Oct. 28, beginning at 7 p.m.

There will be a variety of food, Camacho-Green promised, as well as a cash bar. There will be one special drink that she describes a ghoulish.

There will be a costume contest, games and dancing, she said.

Tickets can be purchased at Riordan Hall and the Bella Vista Country Club for $10 until Oct., 25, and $15 at the door. All major credit cards will be accepted.

"Get ready to Boo-gie," she advised.

The Spooktacular will be at the library at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct 30. It features a Halloween Village with a witch's cottage, mad science lab, cemetery, and a pumpkin patch, along with games, crafts and stories. There is no admission fee.
