Special To The Weekly Vista
American Legion Post 341 in Bella Vista will hold a Memorial Day program starting at 10 a.m. May 30 at the Bella Vista Memorial Garden Cemetery. U.S. Air Force Brig. Gen (Ret.) Bernie Skoch will be the keynote speaker. Music will be provided by the United Lutheran Band; Sandy O'Neil, soloist; and Jo Ann Tyler, bagpipes. The Veterans Honor Guard will provide rifle detail and color guard.
The Post will line the road with American flags and the Boy Scouts will place American flags on the graves of veterans.
If bad weather is forecast, the program will be held at the American Legion Post, 1889 Bella Vista Way.
