Brisk temperatures, a north breeze and quick greens challenged 41 teams who entered the second annual Lads and Lassies for Scotsdale Golf Course fundraiser May 14. This was the last event on Scotsdale until the course is re-opened this fall with a new look.

For the last two years, Lads and Lassies have worked to improve and enhance the course. New sand buckets, a bulletin board and two new garden areas have been installed. This year they look forward to the new "play-it-forward" and hole markers being installed.

Over $900 in prizes and three different play-and-stay casino packages were given away after the tournament. Lunch was catered by Rhythm and Q's.

Lads and Lassies would like to thank all the local businesses that supported the tournament.
