Gary Henderson, of Bella Vista, was the guest speaker at the April 28 meeting of the Bella Vista Fly-Tyers Club. Gary is a past president of the club.
He and his wife took a trip to New Zealand earlier this year. He shared slides of the countryside and various fly-fishing excursions. Gary was fortunate to catch a number of rainbow and brook trout in very clear streams.
The Bella Vista Fly-Tyers Club is a fishing, conservation and service club consisting of approximately 180 members. The club promotes fishing, lake and recreational activities and conducts service projects throughout northwest Arkansas. The club meets every Thursday, beginning at 9 a.m., at Riordan Hall in Bella Vista.
