Special To The Weekly Vista
The Bella Vista chapters of the Philanthropic Educational Organization raised $1,000 dollars to support the PEO Program for Continuing Education Fund in honor of Jean Fitch Justice of Bella Vista for her service as a state officer of PEO. The PCE Fund is dedicated to women who find it necessary to return to school to support themselves and/or their families.
The money was rasied during a Tea and Fashion Show sponsored by six Bella Vista PEO chapters on May 21. It was at First United Methodist Church of Bella Vista. Fashions, sponsored by Belk Department Store, were modeled by members of the six Bella Vista chapters along with several family members and guests. The delicacies of the tea and the table teapot bouquets added greatly to the enjoyment of the spring function.
