The parents gathered around the pool at the Kingsdale complex on Saturday morning agreed that the Bella Vista Sting Rays swim team was both fun and good exercise for their children. Last week, they competed against the Bentonville Barracudas and the competition included one parent/child relay. The youngest swimmers used a kick board. About 70 swimmers, aged 5 to 18, filled two sessions of swim team practice this year, pool manager Alex Graziani said. The Sting Rays host two meets a year and compete a total of four or five times, he said. The coach is Lisa Richards.
