Reservations are now open for the central Arkansas-based guitar trio Finger Food concert on Feb. 12 at the Artist Retreat Center. Finger Food played a sold-out performance at the ARC last summer. For this concert, the music will be moved to the larger studio room.

Finger Food is composed of veteran musicians Steve Davison, Micky Rigby and Danny Dozier. Their music is a feast not only for guitar lovers, but for anyone with a passion for acoustic music. The guitarists perform in the round and trade songs and stories about their compositions and their approach to the guitar in a casual concert setting. The music focuses on contemporary instrumental American Fingerstyle Guitar with folk, jazz, Celtic, classical and blues influences.

The guitarists are very different stylistically and these different styles contribute to an evening of broad musical tastes. They will play solo, duets and trio work. They will also be performing on some very unique custom-built instruments and historic instruments. The in-demand guitarists perform throughout the U.S. in the Finger Food trio as well as with other groups and musicians.

Lee Greene of the Jacksonville Review praised the trio. "It was one of the most enjoyable evenings I have had, attending a concert, in almost 40 years -- and I have been to lots of concerts."

Danny Dozier is a legendary Arkansas guitarist and is a two-time winner of the Merle Travis Fingerstyle Guitar Championship. His solo performances showcase his wide range of guitar styles and his superb choice of material. He is a former member of the Grandpa Jones Band, the award-winning Austin, Texas, band Omar and the Howlers, and currently leads the Lockhouse Orchestra.

Steve Davison is a Little Rock guitarist who performs on the six- and 12-string guitar. He was the solo winner of the 2005 Arkansas Acoustic Music Festival and has been a featured artist on AETN Presents. He has performed at the Montreal Guitar Festival, the Healdsburg Guitar Festival and the Memphis Guitar Festival. He tours with guitarists Ken Bonfield and Peter Janson.

Micky Rigby is a runner-up at the Merle Travis Fingerstyle Guitar Championship and performed often at the former Acoustic Sounds Café in Little Rock. Micky has an extensive repertoire and is an accomplished player of both the guitar and the banjo. He has studied at Jorma Kaukonen's Fur Peace Ranch.

The performance is at 7 p.m. and tickets are $10. Reservations can be made by calling (479) 268-6463. The Artist Retreat Center is at 13467 Lookout Drive in Old Bella Vista.
