John R Johnson of Bella Vista made a hole-in-one on Jan. 25, 2016, on hole No. 11 at the Highlands Golf Course. He used a five wood to hit the ball 165 yards into the cup. He has had a baker’s dozen (13) aces in 60 years of play. Witnesses were playing partners Bob Etien, Richard Wildman and Art Knettle. When asked for a comment, John said ‘Cold and windy, playing lousy but the 17th hole was number 11 and got a hole-in-one. A beautiful, sunshiny day after that’
