Twenty-nine members and guests of the Bella Vista Traveling Sams held their Christmas meeting Dec. 8 at the Mason Dixon in Bella Vista. State directors Bill and Dee Nery and Area 1 assistant directors Don and Joan Cowell were introduced by President Gary Reynolds.
The Highland Winds Quartet played while the group ate their meal. Duane Johnson led the group in singing Christmas carols.

Virginia Reynolds thanked the 2016 officers -- President Gary Reynolds, Vice President Rick Hittle, Secretary Anne Mathis, Treasurer Jan Horswell and Wagon Master Don Cowell -- for their work this past year.
Members brought items for Toys for Tots and the Bella Vista Animal Shelter. Wagon Masters for the day, John and Arlene Farrell and Hank and Doris Otten, led a game the members played.
The next meeting will be Thursday, Jan. 12, at Golden Corral in Rogers.
