The Bella Vista/Bentonville Photography Club held its last meeting of the year Nov. 22 at Riordan Hall. A potluck supper and social completed the event. Next year, the club will have two meetings per month. The monthly meeting will be on the third Tuesday of the month combined with an informational forum. The second meeting will be a photo walk with members to take photos from instruction received during the last forum.
The digital contest, "Fall," winners were Jim Fisk in first place, Mary Stewart in second place and Linda Hupp and Vasu Nata tied for third place.
The city of Bella Vista chose three photos from the Bella Vista/Bentonville Photography Club to be displayed on the walls of City Hall.
The artists are Jan Halgrim, Doug Keck and Mary Christian Stewart. These photos can be viewed by the public at City Hall.
The first meeting in January 2017 will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17, at the Bentonville Library. Anyone interested in photography is invited to attend.
