Monday, Aug. 22

8:03 a.m. A breaking-and-entering was reported on Kilsyth Place. A shed had been broken into and some items had been stolen.

12:47 a.m. Markus Deere, 18, was served a warrant for contempt of court in relation to a no driver's license charge.

4:40 p.m. A car was broken into on Cannock Lane. Skates had been removed from the vehicle, and were found in the neighbor's yard.

Tuesday, Aug. 23

4:56 p.m. A tan car was seen pulling onto Shakespeare. The car hit four mailboxes before turning around and driving back onto U.S. Highway 71.

Wednesday, Aug. 24

2:12 p.m. A woman called complaining that a POA truck threw up a rock that hit her windshield.

6:54 p.m. A complaint was received of a woman driving her golf cart on the street near Westbury and Lambeth.

Thursday, Aug. 25

1:05 p.m. A property owner called stating renters were not paying rent, damaging the property and moving more people into the property on Saxilby Lane.

4:20 p.m. A woman called from Drummore Lane complaining of a black snake in her home's crawlspace.

Friday, Aug. 26

8:38 a.m. A complaint was received of trash being dumped on an empty lot Edenborough Lane.

Saturday, Aug. 27

12:21 a.m. Nathan Taylor, Geoffery Wynn and Asia Nelson were arrested after being stopped in a stolen car. All three were charged with felony possession of a controlled substance. Wynn and Taylor are also facing firearm charges, and Nelson has been charged with under-age possession of alcohol. In addition to the drugs, alcohol and firearm, the three had a kitten in the car, which was not a crime.

10:11 p.m. A man called complaining that he was being harassed via Facebook.

Sunday, Aug. 28

8:42 a.m. Michael Robinson was cited for driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of an accident after reportedly driving his blue BMW over a median and into oncoming traffic with his shirt off on U.S. Highway 71 near Trafalgar Road.

9:16 a.m. A 47-year-old male was found dead after he hung himself from the back of his deck on Morpet Lane.

11:20 a.m. Richard Baker was arrested on two separate contempt of court warrants, one related to theft, and cited for driving without a license.

12:45 p.m. The theft of a trash can and pan of used oil was reported on Guist Lane.
