Bella Vista potholes

I have come to love our Bella Vista potholes -- so much so that we have named them.

I told my husband the other day to get our car aligned because I met a school bus and had to hit "Moe" head on. "Moe" is one of the potholes on our main route. He almost rivals a crater on the moon! I usually know when to drive on the wrong side of the road to avoid him, but alas, one cannot always rely on a lack of traffic.

When the streets get "fixed," I simply say "see ya next year," because they are as dependable as a Maytag -- and always reappear. When I drive the roads at night it is much easier to see all the undulations; I use these to give my grandchildren a theme-park-like thrill ride when they are in the backseat (for cheap entertainment!)

My husband told me to watch out for "Larry" because he was expanding around the curve. Yep, we do the "left," "right," "left" driving technique. I think I will plant phlox in "Curly" next year as part of my beautification project -- or perhaps I will just buy a climbing rope and go spelunking.
