Wednesday Night Couples Bridge

Jan and John Franklin will host the next meeting on Nov. 18. All couples are welcome to play bridge with us starting at 6:30 p.m. at Riordan Hall every Wednesday evening. No reservations are needed and there is no weekly obligation.

'500 Club'

Winners Nov. 10 were: Women -- Sharon Johnson, first; Audrey Trautmann, second; Susan Couto, third; Lane Doyle, fourth; Ginger Anderson, honorable mention. Men -- Larry Johnson, first; Denny Koneman, second; Dan Bloomer, third; Larry Anderson, fourth; Frank Krug, honorable mention. The 50/50 winner was Larry Rolph.

'500' is played on the second Tuesday of each month at Riordan Hall, normally beginning at 6 p.m. However, next month we will get together a one-half hour earlier on Dec. 8 at 5:30 p.m. to celebrate in the annual Christmas season potluck dinner and cards. Couples are requested to bring a prepared dish of their choice and a place setting for each person in their party. Meats and drinks will be offered at no charge by the club.

Free lessons are offered for anyone interested in playing 500. Singleton substitutes are needed. Please contact Wayne Doyle at 479-295-4342 if interested in playing.

Ladies Thursday Bridge
