There will be six AARP Smart Driver Courses in May and June in Bella Vista, Fayetteville and Springdale. Participants can lower their overall maintenance and car insurance costs by taking the course.
The course teaches current traffic laws, defensive-driving techniques and how to operate a vehicle more safely in today's increasingly challenging driving environment. It also teaches how to manage and accommodate common age-related changes in vision, hearing and reaction time.
Course length is four hours and cost is $15 for AARP members and $20 for non-members.
