A few "how" questions: How long did it take nature to carve the Buffalo River area? How long did Dr. Neil Compton dedicate his days to have the Buffalo River declared the first national river? How many people every year travel from near and far to visit this national treasure?
How could intelligent minds consider sponsoring a hog farm, with all the waste 6,500 animals produce, by a stream that runs into the national river when other areas abound in this state?
How long will it take day by day, month by month, year by year to destroy our national river?
Studies are ongoing.
How could Cargill Inc. of Minnesota support and supply such a farm situation?
How long do you believe Cargill Inc. would even consider supporting such a farm on one of Minnesota's 10,000 lakes?
Would it even enter their minds? How many questions remains? How much time?
