Volunteer at Schmieding Center
Volunteer and share your time and talents at the Schmieding Center in Bella Vista.
I discovered the Schmieding Center while I was coordinating caregivers for my mother-n-law. I was encouraged by the Area Agency on Aging to contact the Schmieding Center for questions and resources. I heard glowing reports about the center and what it had accomplished.
I have been volunteering since 2003 and I enjoy the flexibility and being able to use my talents. In 2014 volunteers assisted more than 1,000 community members.
Volunteers make a difference by greeting visitors to the center, assisting visitors to find health and caregiver information, giving directions in the building, maintaining data, revising and updating flyers and by sharing their talents.
