Five named to bank advisory board in BV

Submitted Five Bella Vistans were recently named to the Arvest Bank Advisory Board. They are: Mike Hannon, Linda Todd, Jim Angstead, Val LeClair and John Curran.

Arvest Bank has announced that five new members have agreed to join or extend their term on the Advisory Board for Arvest Bank in Bella Vista.

Those board members are:

• Val LeClair, a native of Cameron, Wis., was a real estate agent for 13 years in Oklahoma and Arizona. She also has nine years experience as a bank teller and branch secretary in Arizona. In addition, she has worked in radio and newspaper sales for eight years.

• Linda Todd is originally from Pensacola, Fla. She was a legal secretary and office administrator for 40 years and an Aflac Insurance agent for 10 years before moving to Bella Vista from California.

• Mike Hannon, a native of Fall River, Mass., started his career with the Carpenters' Union and was a superintendent for 28 years, overseeing multi-million dollar commercial and residential construction projects across the country. He and his wife, Ruth Hannon, lived all over the country before moving to Bella Vista in 2013.

• John Curran, a native of Omaha, Neb., is a retired senior power systems relay technician. He spent six years in the U.S. Air Force as a staff sergeant in air intelligence/photo interpreter.

• Jim Angstead is originally from Ankeny, Iowa, and earned his bachelor's degree in agricultural business at Iowa State University before spending 40 years as a community banker specializing in lending. He currently serves on the Bella Vista Community Church finance committee and formerly was on the Bella Vista POA Golf Advisory Board. He is extending his term on the board.

"This group brings a wealth of varied backgrounds and life experiences to the table as they join our advisory board," said Carolyn Mitchell, business development representative for Arvest Bank in Bella Vista.

"Each can bring a new insight into the active life of our community and how Arvest Bank can best serve this community. We look forward to seeing what they can do for both."
