Honeycutt named office manager

Robert Honeycutt has been named the new office manager at the Weekly Vista.

Honeycutt, 36, started July 13. He took over for Barbara Paulos, who retired earlier this month after more than 20 years as office manager.

A music lover and avid Dallas Cowboys fan, Honeycutt said he was instantly drawn to the job once it opened.

"I love helping people and talking to people," Honeycutt said. "Everything about the job seemed perfect for me."

Honeycutt previously worked for Northwest Arkansas Newspapers in the classified department. Prior to joining the paper, he worked for Budgetext, a textbook wholesaler based in Fayetteville, for 12 years as a sales and service manager. A Dallas native, Honeycutt has lived in northwest Arkansas since 1999.

Kent Marts, publisher and editor of the paper's weeklies division, said Honeycutt is a "great fit" for the Vista.

"He brings a great background of advertising, sales and understanding of a newspaper to the office," Marts said. "I look forward to all of the office regulars stopping by and getting to know him."
