Have you ever been overwhelmed by something that seems trivial to others?
Perspective is a funny thing. Did you know that my thumb is bigger than you are? I can hold my thumb up in front of my face and it is bigger than you are. Now we all know that isn't true, but that's the way the devil works.
He shoves your problems right up in your face and it seems that they are bigger then us, and even bigger than God. We can come to the place that we can't see the forest for the trees, but one of the great works of the Holy Spirit is that he can pull us back and help us to see that this situation is not the end of the thing.
Philippians 4:8 says, "Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable -- if anything is excellent or praiseworthy -- think about such things."
Whatever you are facing today, I encourage you to look on the bright side by faith and let Jesus give you a heavenly perspective on your issues.
