There will be five AARP Smart Driver Courses in July in Bella Vista, Springdale and Gravette. Participants can lower their overall maintenance and car insurance costs by taking the course.
The course teaches current traffic laws, defensive-driving techniques and how to operate a vehicle more safely in today's increasingly challenging driving environment.
It also teaches how to manage and accommodate common age-related changes in vision, hearing and reaction time.
Course length is four hours. Cost is $15 for AARP members and $20 for non-members.
Reservations are required and participants are asked to call the number listed to sign up for classes.
