The Bella Vista Resource Advisory Council, staff and volunteers of the Schmieding Center would like to welcome you to the 25th annual Senior Health Fair from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 25, at Riordan Hall in Bella Vista.

This year's theme is "Celebrating 25 years of Healthy Aging."

Our goal is to provide you with opportunities to improve and maintain your health.

The Senior Health Fair is a great way for older adults and their families to visit with health care providers, get simple health screenings and find out what support services are available in our community.

Free flu shots will be available to those with Medicare, TriCare or a federal employee plan.

We encourage you to take a walk down memory lane and enjoy the memorabilia from the first three health fairs.

In 1990 , the fair was coordinated by a nonprofit group, Seniors Assisting Seniors.

In 2004, the Schmieding Center for Senior Education in Bella Vista assumed the organization and planning of the health fair.

This event is brought to you by the Bella Vista Resource Advisory Council, the Property Owners Association and The Weekly Vista in conjunction with the Schmieding Center for Education in Bella Vista.

Continued support of the many vendors, the numerous volunteers and the community participants assures its continued success.

We would like to express our gratitude to all who were instrumental in making the Senior Health Fair what it is today.

Please join us as we celebrate a quarter-century of senior health fairs in Bella Vista!
