Naomi G. Dawkins of Bella Vista celebrated her 100th birthday Tuesday, Sept. 9, at her granddaughter's house in Springdale with 21 close relatives attending.

She was born in Dunn Center, N.D., and lived in Oregon and California before joining her son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Dianne Dawkins, in Bella Vista a little more than 10 years ago. Before moving to her current address, she lived for a while at Concordia where she made many friends, most of whom were younger.

She is a widow of 25 years and has grandsons in Port Orchard, Wash., and Bella Vista, and granddaughters in Springdale and Broomfield, Colo. All four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren helped her celebrate her birthday. Her nieces came from Washington, Oregon, Virginia, Mississippi, Colorado and California.
