Barbershop chorus and guests to perform Sept. 13

The Greater Ozarks Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society will present its annual show -- "This is BARBERSHOP!" -- on Saturday, Sept. 13.

The show begins at 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, in the performing arts center at Arkansas Arts Academy, formerly Benton County School of the Arts, at 506 W. Poplar in Rogers.

Featured will be Premium Blend, a quartet from Springfield and Kansas City, Mo., that reached the semifinals in international competition in Las Vegas this summer.

Also appearing will be the Brovretones, 2013 Central States District Collegiate Champion, and The Youth in Harmony Chorus, composed of high school and college students from several area schools.

Hosting the program is the Pride of the Ozarks Barbershop Chorus, directed by Prudence Hagan, along with local favorite, Melody Lane, and other area ensembles.

Advance tickets are $15 each and may be purchased at select Arvest Bank branches or by calling 1-877-993-7464. The price will be $17 at the door the night of the show.
