United Methodist Women of the First United Methodist Church of Bella Vista invites the community to its 37th annual holiday bazaar.

This year's event will be held Saturday, Oct. 4. Doors open at 8:30 a.m., and homemade cinnamon and orange rolls and coffee will be available at that time. Lunch will be served beginning at 10:30 a.m. and will feature pulled pork and home-baked pies for dessert.

The sale ends at 2 p.m.

A variety of items will be available for purchase. Most items are hand-crafted by members of UMW. Holiday décor for Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas is always a big hit, according to a press release from the organization. Homemade clothing, accessories and jewelry, along with gift baskets, linens for the kitchen and bath, and home-baked and canned jams and jellies are just a few of the many items from which shoppers can choose.

There is also a "Dignified Discards" room full of antiques and other treasurers, and there are plants and books galore -- something for everyone, the release states.

A credit and debit machine will be available to make shopping more convenient.

All proceeds go to support the many mission projects supported by United Methodist Women.
