Highlands Church is sponsoring a prayer weekend that will include two workshops aimed at helping people improve their praying.
The weekend begins with a workshop at 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, in the fellowship hall. The session will be led by a couple from Oklahoma who have firsthand experience in how prayer can change lives. Everyone is invited, and there is no fee.
Following the workshop, the public is invited to attend the Saturday night worship celebration at 5:30, which will be led by the same couple.
The second workshop will take place at noon Sunday. The weekend will conclude at 6 p.m. with a Holy Communion and healing service.
Everyone is invited to attend any part of this weekend event.
