s 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Community Blood Center of the Ozarks will conduct a blood drive at Village Bible Evangelical Free Church, 210 Town Center S.E., in Bella Vista. s 6:30 p.m. The community is invited to Bella Vista's Mildred B. Cooper Memorial Chapel to sing Christmas carols and other songs of the season. This free event is hosted by the choir from Village Bible Evangelical Free Church.

Saturday, Dec. 20

s 7 p.m. The Little O' Oprey Country Music Showcase opens at the corner of Main and Campbell in West Fork. The evening will feature a house band and guest entertainers. A full snack bar is on site. s 7:30 p.m. Christmas with the Arkansas Philharmonic Orchestra concert at Arend Arts Center, 1901 S.E. J St., on the Bentonville High School campus. Families will have an opportunity to experience Christmas through costumed Bible characters and pet live animals in the stable. A 1,000-plus lighted star will shine atop the set.
