A Pea Ridge man was found dead Tuesday, Aug. 19, after state road workers reported an overturned vehicle off of Lancashire Boulevard in Bella Vista.
Jimmy Lothes, 36, was last seen Sunday evening, Aug. 17, Capt. Tim Cook of the Bella Vista Police Department said. Lothes had not been reported missing, but the coroner determined he died Sunday.
Lothes' Toyota pickup was found in a ravine beside Lancashire Boulevard near Trafalgar Road, visible only from the high vantage point of an Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department dump truck cab.
The pickup was traveling east when it left the roadway, Cook said. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
