Chorus seeks new director

The 40-member Bella Vista Men's Chorus is looking for a new director, man or woman, experienced in conducting choral music, to help the group continue its tradition of bringing music to the area.

Current director Bill Hesse has been with the group for five years. Marilyn Lee is the accompanist.

The chorus practices from 8 to 9:30 a.m. every Thursday in Becker Hall at the First United Methodist Church of Bella Vista, 20 Boyce Drive. Practice times are adjustable.

Performances take place in the spring at elementary schools in northwest Arkansas. The men also present a benefit concert for Village House Adult Day Program, sing at memorials, senior centers, etc., and have a fall and a Christmas concert. They take a couple of months off in the winter.

More information may be found online at bellavistamenschorus.org.

Anyone interested in the director position should call Dick Willows at 479-876-5113 or [email protected].
