Monday, Aug. 11

• 9:17 a.m. A caller on Beith Lane reported a copperhead in her yard.

• 12:55 p.m. Melanie Hornsveld, 39, was served a failure-to-appear warrant at Arkansas State Police headquarters.

• 10:47 p.m. Police responding to a disturbance call on Dogwood Drive arrested Charles Owens, 46, for domestic battery.

Tuesday, Aug. 12

• 7:45 p.m. The Bella Vista K-9 Unit assisted Bentonville police on a traffic stop.

Wednesday, Aug. 13

• 10:35 a.m. A caller on Rayburn Circle reported being bitten by a scorpion.

• 1 p.m. Someone said a home on Kempsey Drive had been burglarized.

• 4:07 p.m. A caller on Runnymeade Lane said he thought the homeowner of a house on the street was dead after he saw what looked like a corpse through the windows. Police found the homeowner alive and OK inside the home.

• 6:08 p.m. A bunch of teenage boys were reportedly in the woods by the dam at Lake Rayburn smashing things.

• 6:18 p.m. A caller said a man on Devizis Drive had a broom in the street and was harassing people. The man had been sweeping his driveway and yelling at speeding cars to slow down while his child played in the front yard.

• 8:52 p.m. Jeffrey Remfrey, 46, was arrested for driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop at Sugar Creek Center.

Thursday, Aug. 14

• 1:11 a.m. Candace Scott, 29, was arrested for three counts of possession of a controlled substance and driving on a suspended license after a traffic stop at Bella Vista Way and the rest area.

• 1:31 a.m. David Dahlqvist, 41, was arrested for third-degree domestic assault after a disturbance on Cerney Lane.

• 10:31 a.m. A caller said someone dumped two emaciated puppies on Churchill Drive.

• 10:34 a.m. Someone said he had just bought a house on Leyland Drive and sent a crew to clean it, then discovered all the copper was stolen from the home.

• 3:41 p.m. Police removed a western rattlesnake from a home on Kirkconnel Lane.

• 4:05 p.m. A caller on Heather Drive reported garage sale signs stolen.

• 6:23 p.m. Someone on Billingsley Drive found a basset hound and a black pug walking in the road.

• 10:31 p.m. After receiving a report of suspicious people at the All in One convenience store, police arrested Franklin Clines, 24, for possession of a controlled substance; Brogan Lane, 22, for felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, shoplifting and theft of property; and Stacy Graham, 23, for shoplifting and theft of property.

Friday, Aug. 15

• 11:40 a.m. A person reported at the Police Department two females in his neighborhood gathering feral cats, feeding them and taking them to be spayed or neutered, then releasing them into the neighborhood again. He was told by animal control this is an acceptable solution to feral cats.

Saturday, Aug. 16

• 12:15 a.m. Several juveniles were detained and then released to their parents after a report of a suspicious vehicle on Penzance Drive.

• 7:12 a.m. A caller on Ryde Lane reported her car had been rifled through overnight and money taken.

• 5:06 p.m. William Byrd, 22, was served a warrant while at the Benton County Jail.

Sunday, Aug. 17

• 2:20 p.m. A caller advised that his ex-girlfriend smokes pot and drives intoxicated all the time.

• 6:07 p.m. A caller on Kirkconnel Lane said there was another rattlesnake at the residence, next to the garage.

• 8:32 p.m. Someone from Pisgah Lane said "that guy" working on his truck was "doped up."

• 8:36 p.m. A home on Witham Lane was burglarized.
