'Fitness 101' shows equipment's proper use

Join fitness specialist Fred Ridgeway as he demonstrates the proper use of fitness equipment at Bella Vista Village's Riordan Hall and Branchwood Recreation Center.

"Fitness 101" instructional sessions will be offered at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 14, at Riordan Hall, 3 Riordan Drive, and at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, at Branchwood Recreation Center, 222 Glasgow Road.

Each session, which is limited to eight participants, will last an hour and a half and offer instruction on all fitness equipment available at the village's fitness centers.

"Fitness 101" is not a personal training class, but personal trainers are available for private sessions at both facilities, according to a news release from the Property Owners Association.

The class is free; however, participants without a current photo identification card issued by the Property Owners Association will be required to pay the facility use fee.

For more information or to register for the class, call Riordan Hall at 479-855-8170 or Branchwood Recreation Center at 479-855-8181.
