Covered patio constructed at Granton Park

The construction of a new covered patio area at Loch Lomond's Granton Park in Bella Vista Village is expected to be complete by the end of August.

The 10-foot by 10-foot covered patio is being built next to the kiosk and will serve as a peaceful area for members to sit, as well as a place for anglers to get out of the elements and weigh fish following tournaments, according to a news release from the Property Owners Association.

The Bella Vista Bass Association obtained all of the materials for the project, which were donated by the bass association, TH Rogers Lumber Co., Cooper Concrete and Chuck MacLean. The work is being done by POA staff. The simple structure will include a memorial bench, electricity and lighting.
