Hole No. 14 on the Bella Vista Country Club Golf Course will be played as a par 3 during construction of the new pumphouse.
Typically played as a par 4, hole No. 14 will be shortened to accommodate construction, which began Tuesday, April 15, and is expected to take approximately two months, weather permitting.
The pumphouse foundation was undercut by flood water during the August 2013 storms, and the structure tipped and fell into Little Sugar Creek during a contractor's efforts to repair its foundation.
The contractor's insurance company approved the association's claim on the pumphouse.
