Rockfish to assist shelter with redesigned website

Rockfish, a digital marketing agency, is going to provide pro-bono services to the Bella Vista Animal Shelter in Northwest Arkansas.

The company made the announcement at its inaugural corporate giving program:

In Northwest Arkansas, Rockfish has partnered with Bella Vista Animal Shelter to relaunch the organization's website.

The redesigned web presence will help the animal shelter grow its audience of supporters and potential adopters via digital channels, helping to fulfill its mission of "providing love and care for homeless animals that need adoption into good homes."

"We look forward to the unveiling of our new Bella Vista Animal Shelter website," says Rene' Paradise, Board President for Bella Vista Animal Shelter. "The new site will be a best-in-class digital marketing tool that will be a one-stop shop to see what's happening at the shelter and a great way to communicate our community events."

In addition, the company will work with Josh Cares of Cincinnati, Ohio, to implement a robust digital marketing strategy, including social media and public relations, to promote its annual Food Truckin' for Josh Cares event, which takes place on June 18 on Fountain Square.

The Cincinnati food truck event helps raise funds for Josh Cares, whose mission is to provide companionship and comfort to children hospitalized in critical and chronic care units in Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center.

"Giving back to our communities comes naturally for Rockfish employees," says CEO and Founder Kenny Tomlin. "Our employees are involved with a wide range of non-profits and social causes, and we are proud to extend that work in a more official capacity in 2014 with Josh Cares and Bella Vista Animal Shelter."

Rockfish will donate up to $50,000 in agency time for each of the projects.

The Rockfish corporate giving program opened its application process in November 2013. Applicants were asked to submit proposals for digital marketing projects.

Eligible applicants were established 501(c)(3) organizations headquartered within 50 miles of one of the cities in which Rockfish operates.

The organizations also had to demonstrate financial and organizational need for pro bono digital services to better serve a philanthropic cause.

Rockfish will open up its 2015 giving program application process in the fall of 2014 through the Rockfish website, RockfishDigital.com.
