SILOAM SPRINGS -- The Northwest Arkansas Gem and Mineral Society will present its spring show April 12-13 at the Community Center in Siloam Springs, 110 N. Mount Olive.
Saturday hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday hours are from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Demonstrations include wire wrapping, flint knapping, sphere making and cabochon techniques.
Vendors will show rough, slabbed and polished stone as well as finished lapidary and jewelry items. There will also be door prizes, food, silent auctions and special activities for children, such as grab bags, a treasure chest and a gem wash.
Admission is $3. Children under 12 will be admitted for free.
