Community Blood Center of the Ozarks is in need of O negative blood.
With less than a twoday supply of this blood type on hospital shelves, the center issued a code yellow alert and announced a blood drive in Bella Vista.
Eligible donors may visit CBCO’s mobileunit between 11:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, at Allen’s Foods, 60 Sugar Creek Center. Requirements include weighing at least 110 pounds, being in general good health and presenting identification.
